📚📖🛹 2023 Social Impact Challenge (Jersey City, NJ USA)
We took our skateboard to the Pavonia Branch Library in Jersey City to get book refills of our local Little Free Library at Hamilton Park. A Little Free Library is a small, outdoor book exchange where people can take a book to read or leave a book for someone else to enjoy. The concept is based on the idea of building community and promoting literacy. The Little Free Library movement started in 2009 and has since grown into a worldwide phenomenon, with over 100,000 registered libraries in over 100 countries.
